Arise and shine

 

i will arise and shine

for my light has come

just yesterday

i thought it was the end of me

for all around me was darkness

the weather was dark

my soul was heavy too

i was fighting to keep afloat

i was afraid

i was frightened too

i had thoughts that were so defeating

what is the point of living

everything around me seemed fake

i died inside
