Lakes

In Geography we were taught by our teacher that lakes in the Rift Valley, Kenya are long and narrow ,but I didn’t seem to understand this then .

On my recent travels I got to see one such lake; L. Naivasha.

We were headed to Eldoret when we stopped at Naivasha, ventured away from the main road and got down to this lake…

and yees as they said, I could see it’s width, but its length..my eyes couldn’t see to its end. 😁😁
